Welcome! I'm Caroline Mello, I run the Specialty Foods portion of the farm operation here at Waterford Run Farm & Forge. My specialty is Artisanal Jams, all hand made in small batches here on the farm in my traditional French style copper preserving pan.

I encourage my customers to "think outside the jar"! Jams aren't just for toast or PB & J's! You may see things in the line-up that sound strange, but these can make some incredible pairings!
Here are some suggestions:
Try a dollop of Wild Blueberry & Lemon jam on top of your favorite pancakes or waffles for a bright pop of flavor!
Jams are great stirred into oatmeal or yogurt. (To avoid being too sweet I recommend using unsweetened or plain yogurt before adding your jam of choice).
Try pairing my Tomato & Saffron Jam with blue cheese. Fig Jam with Rum & Black Cardamom is perfect paired with a nice creamy Brie.
Spiced Tomato & Bourbon and Tomato with Smoked Paprika are also a stand-out additions to any cheese plate.
Tart Cherry Jam with Candied Ginger is great with Ricotta or Chèvre on a crostini.
Perhaps the most popular of all: Fiery Habañero Jelly slathered over cream cheese, served with crackers.
Wine Jelly- everyone knows about wine and cheese being a match made in heaven...so Wine Jelly & cheese just makes sense! Take some along for your next wine tasting or picnic.
Try Dark Hollow Stout Beer Jelly with a sharp cheddar or Asiago cheese.
Savory Applications: If you like a little spice add some Fiery Habañero Jelly to your next glaze or marinade. It makes a great chicken wing sauce when mixed with a little melted butter and Frank's hot sauce. Its also great right on top of a burger or pork chop!
My nice Tart Cherry with Candied Ginger jam makes a great addition to a pork tenderloin or duck breast.
Beer Jelly makes a great glaze for meats or sauteed mushrooms.
Dessert:Make an easy and impressive dessert trifle with pound cake and your favorite jam layered with whipped cream.
